Visiting the MALBA on rainy day was perfect. Biggest discovery was the extensive display of Antonio Berni’s masterpieces.

Found this place in a little indoor market in Recoleta. I think we went there every day. Great coffee and empanadas.
Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is a large city so it can be a bit daunting to walk it all. Still, we must have walked over 20 miles across and up and down the city.
Lots of very lively markets, street art, beautiful architecture, and tasty food and drinks!

Mexico: Choco-Story in Uxmal
A really well done chocolate museum and farm next to Uxmal. We both enjoyed learning about the story of the Cocoa bean and the important role it has been playing over time both in South America and in the rest of the world. Definitely worth a stop.

Mexico: Uxmal
Uxmal and the magnificent Pyramid of the Magician. The site of Uxmal is so expansive that it would take days to really explore and admire it all.
The hotel next door had a great view of the forest and sneaky cheeky monkeys (not pictured).
